Una de las coordinadoras del programa en Dublín nos escribió a finales de curso después de asistir a varios eventos de graduación.

The last few weeks, we have been attending many of the TY Graduations.  I am extremely proud of each of the students and it’s been an extremely emotional for many of them (and for me too!).  I think many of them have mixed, bittersweet emotions about returning home.  But I can’t blame them.  The excitement of returning home to friends and family but also leaving many new friends and (hopefully for many) an Irish family as well.

Some TY Grads were easier to get pictures than others (eg. Smaller schools).  When at St. Mary’s TY Graduation, Mariona’s host mother and brother attended to support Mariona as well.  I attached a “family” photo of the trio.  They definitely have a “brother/sister relationship” I was also able to snag a few of Laia at her TY Graduation as well.

I am so very proud of each and every student.  I am sure their parents are delighted to be having them back soon; however, they will all be missed here in Ireland by their host families, friends And ISI.

Cheers!
